We understand the landscape as a perceived territory, a living manifestation of our relationship with the environment and a reflection of our culture and history. No.Our approach addresses both the physical base and the historical construction and visual structure of landscapes, with special attention to the identity relationships and meanings given to it by the various groups that make up the local and visiting population. We study each landscape in the context of its cultural practices and attributed meanings, seeking to understand its differential characteristics and current dynamics, with the aim of identifying the thresholds of admissible changes for the maintenance and improvement of its landscape character. To do this, we use advanced spatial analysis and modeling techniques, as well as social research.
territory He has collaborated in numerous regional landscape inventories in Andalusia, as well as in the integration of the landscape dimension in Subregional Territorial Planning Plans and urban planning instruments. On a local scale, the treatment of the urban landscape also stands out.
