Protection, management and enhancement
We believe that a deep understanding of what the conservation, protection and enhancement of historical heritage means means considering it as part of our contemporaneity. The permanences must be preserved to be passed on to future generations in their authenticity and integrity, without being understood as elements foreign and exempt from our current reality. They must necessarily be a participant in our society, just as they have been in previous ones and as they will be in future ones, as qualifying elements in terms of representativeness, identity and beauty.
For this, it is essential that the buildings, elements and spaces are alive, that is, that they have a use and that this use is functional and useful, thus allowing their full conservation in terms of meanings and values, and not just their mere materiality. . We understand theThe elements of historical heritage as articulating nodes of quality and urban and territorial functions. We pay special attention to heritage elements linked to the traditional uses and exploitations of the territory, as fragile heritage.
In territory We create urban planning instruments with protection content (Innovations to general planning and Special Plans for the Protection of Historical Complexes), we draft technical documentation for the declaration of Assets of Cultural Interest and catalogs and inventories at a local, supralocal and subregional scale. We also frequently collaborate with the public administration in drafting technical reports on actions and planning.
