Inventory and enhancement of public roads
At Territoria, we have a deep respect and appreciation for the network of trails, roads and livestock routes that cross our landscapes. These roads are not simply means of communication, they are also bearers of history, articulators of territories, promoters of social cohesion and a fundamental axis for the sustainable development of the regions.
The roads have been for centuries the arteries that have allowed mobility of people, trade, the spread of ideas and the formation of links between communities. They are witnesses of the passage of time, setting the pace of our development and leaving behind a rich cultural and patrimonial legacy.
When working with these valuable resources, our approach covers several key aspects. The network of local trails and roads is a public domain that cannot be seized, inalienable and imprescriptible. It is the responsibility and privilege of the town councils to ensure their free access, use and collective enjoyment. lRoads are living spaces, which must adapt to the needs and challenges of the present. Therefore, we incorporate into our work innovative solutions that allow the roads to be adapted to the new recreational uses that are required today, improve their functionality and adaptation to the climate challenge, respecting their identity and heritage value.
In Territoria, we see the roads as a meeting point between the past, present and future. With each step we take in identifying and enhancing them, our objective is to revalue these spaces, promoting their responsible use and sustainable enjoyment, and guaranteeing that they continue to be a fundamental element in the life of our communities.
